"Did I understand you right? Are you saying that your friend is using a cable modem with a satellite dish? How is that possible?" His friend uses the satellite for TV. The discussion was if you received a good subscription rate on RR only if you already had cable TV. The reply was that you receive the same rate even if you use a Dish for you TV. You must have cable available in your area to use the modem. regards Jay
