Bought BIDS and sold on a nervous twitch today. Probably should have held but something kept gnawing at my gut about this stock. I think a lot of it is the derisiveness I found on the old thread. I am glad to see one that could focus on the present and not the dregs of the past. I will be watching.

Glad to hear of your good experience with Bid.com.. I bought 2 posters and a steamer so far. I need a watch, a camera and also new, smaller speakers and am doing my research on those items. I figure if I'm going to buy, I might as well buy from Bids. I noticed the part about registering to bid. Since we are already registered bidders, do we have to register again for this special auction? Regards.... Mac

Cost and quality of user experience... You are right Billy, it is all about it. Margins are one thing the customer doesn't care about as long as the price is right. Besides, if your experience on their site has been enjoyable, you will return, and others will too. Now, sooner than one may think, Bid.Com's market share will be much higher than most of its competitors. Then management will be free to set appropriate margins and cost-efficient processes. On-line auction is about service and technology. It is not about being Canadian or American. __________ Champolion
