I don't work for the INS, I am a foreign service officer with the US Information Agency at the US embassy in Sarajevo. I have offered my advice on the bureaucracy and dealing with it, and I have PM'ed Anthony in the past with offers to assist him any way I can if he wants to do anything in Bosnia. Yesterday I was trying to offer my perspective on how the thread's PR campaign would be received INSIDE an embassy, having worked in the US embassy in Zagreb, Croatia from 1992 - 1995 under similar difficult circumstances. My main task right now is trying to get the Bosnian media to run as much information on the Kosovo refugee plight as possible. This is especially difficult with the Bosnian Serb media but we have made some progress getting them to carry US government statements and briefings which the Bosnian Serb public otherwise never would have heard. That's what I do for a living, among other tasks as a press officer.
