Internet IPOs Net Perceptions and Launch Media soar in
opening trading. CompuCredit trades well in the
aftermarket.
Online marketing software firm Net Perceptions after
pricing at $14 opened at $34 3/8 in early trading. Also
showing a strong opening was online music firm Launch
Media which priced at $22 and opened at $35. After
dropping the range credit card issuer CompuCredit which
priced at $12 has shown strong aftermarket trading. The
only IPO to spoil the party was marine terminal company
Statia which priced at $20 and immediately broke below its

This stock will do great in the long term but I expect it to trade lower in the near future as software stocks are underperforming the general market due to concerns over the y2k spending. I have a order to buy big time at 24 and do hope it gets filled over the next couple of weeks.
