Hello Bruce,

Those are outstanding examples.

You know - when our long and short term market indicators are up it can be tough to find a bullish signaling Long-Tail Down in the under $50 range. (Yes, they do appear in the volatile stocks a great deal.)
I know that Burke prefers these patterns when the market has been oversold.

I'm hand charting a number of the QQQ charts, and ADSK just gave the signal. For those not familiar, this is called the "Blumanthal 20 Box Buy Signal, or simply the Long-Tail Down. It requires a reversal up after 20 or more boxes straight down.

Yes yes it has not so good RS. But it's the chart pattern we wanted to look at -- right.<g>

For those that might have an interest in QQQ's P&F chart, see Message 9093453. Chartseer, and I try to keep them up to date a couple of times a week and Bruce will offer comments now and then (I would prefer more now, than then).
