RG: It is obvious that Dagan and a few others have a Large Sum of money invested Short in BIDS. Last two days they started to feel a squeeze and are trying to do their best to knock the stock down, and profit on their Short Sell.
Their big problem is, they are out numbered by those who are LONG or want to become LONG in the stock.
The bright side is, when the Shorts start covering their position, BIDS will get a wave of BUY orders.
Remember, each Short Seller is a future BUYER and potentially a Double Buyer if they cover their Short Position and go LONG.

All stocks go up and down. When a stock has hit bottom and starting back up, is NOT the time to Short a stock. It is the time to start covering.
Now is that time.
Even more so with an e commerace/Internet stock

I feel that this stock has a better chance at hitting $17 again, then hitting $7 again. Therefor, the down side risk is small while the upside potential is great.

If the LONGS would hold tight ( not sell ), maybe even add more shares to their LONG position, the shorts will cover and become buyers, and we will see BIDS trading at numbers that most only dreamed of.

Daytraders usually hold a stock between less then a day to a few days. Many like to close out positions before the weekend.
BIDS finished the week strong so I have to conclude that either the Day traders are mostly out of the stock, which I do not think is the case OR many Daytraders decided the risk to reward ratio was good enough to hold the stock over the weekend. THAT is a BULLISH sign!

I see very little reason to sell the stock before Tuesdays close. More Day traders and longer term players will be buying strong Monday and Tuesday leading up to the big event. ( Tuesday nights Live RealVideo Auction )
If Tuesday nights event is seen as positive by the majority of investors, WATCH OUT, the stock could go nuclear. UP!

To view the event Tuesday night, you will need RealAudeo/Video loaded.
real.com
Load it. play around with it...
You can listen to hundreds of different Radio stations, watch video feeds, even News broadcast and movies.
Pretty cool stuff...
In my mind, BIDS has made one good move in connecting up with REALNETWORKS. It's the future, and the present...
