1) If EBAY auctions are weak, it will be viewed as a positive to AMZN as it will be
interpreted as AMZN taking business away from EBAY

2) If EBAY auctions are strong, it will be viewed as a positive to AMZN as it will be
interpreted as AMZN benefiting from stong consumer demand.

Let's see, a split in E-GROUP is positive for amzn. Weak or strong results for eBay are positive for amzn. Is there anything in the world that is not positive for amzn ?

I am not surprised that the mere fact of eBay reporting any kind of result is positive for amzn. Lets go further. The approach of April 28 as a calendar event is positive for amzn. What next ? Arrival of warm weather. No problem. Positive for amzn.

What would you say, it will top out at 240 to 250 ? Or is that too conservative ?

tonyt -- the week looks set to be full of hype and rising expectations. I think you are right concerning ebay. The are presenting at H&Q also. The question for me is should I play the surge or is that already in the stock?
