This is where I would like to interject a little bit about the dynamics of corporate control. I'm really only stating the obvious.

I agree with Mr. Rieman that because CUBE's only real asset is their intellectual property which is best represented first by their employees and second by their patents, any takeover has to be executed delicately.

That being said, these parameters by no means rule out a takeover - regardless of CUBE's posture. AB has to listen to a SELIGMAN (anyone remember Michael Price and Chase). And CUBE's needs are irrelevant (like cash). What is relevant is that capital markets recognize an undervalued asset.

For the record: institutional holding rose 3% this week.
