Voop - When I looked into this it turned out that S-CDMA uses the same principle of CDMA put isn't necessarily using the QCOM patents. I don't think QCOM gets any benefit from the success of TERN.
On another question you asked, Kopn is working with QCOM with the GaAS wafers used for many PCS phones. However there is some indication that the Q is moving to GaSe wafers for the new chipsets. There is also some possibility of using the Kopn cyberdisplay as a virtual view for cell phones. There are Motorola prototypes using this approach for reading data. However, it appears more likely that the Q is not immediately planning to use this approach since they recently announced they are working with Three Five systems for a competitive product. Tom
