Perhaps those interested in gun control should start a thread on the topic. It seems to have little to do with Kosovo, which is the subject of this thread.

Not exactly what I call facts! For instance the only reason the Swiss have more guns in the home is because there are so many military reservists and they have a rifle at home, unloaded and hidden away. This article was as biased as they come. It's like the "evidence" that the religious creationists use to disprove evolution. They find obscure scientific studies that "disprove" evolution. It doesn't matter whether the science is bogus or has been backed up by other studies. I'm not saying evolution is necessarily correct but that if you set out to prove your point referring to statistics and published articles, you'll find what you want if you dig deep enough. For instance: "carrots cause criminal behaviour since 90% of criminals eat carrots". And since the gun lobby especially the NRA has big coffers they can fund the kind of article you refer to. Besides my note referred to facts that I can personally vouch for. In this world I prefer to draw conclusions from personal observation that believe all the propaganda out there (just look at how the government demonizes marijuna when it is no more harmful than cigarettes and definitely less dangerous than alcohol). Sorry, Chris, no more about gun control or guns. Although missile and bomb control sounds relevant to the situation.
