I hear what you are saying but treasury stock is still an asset and has value. If not then will someone give me a 100K if it is worthless or of no value to the firm. But as you say a matter of perspective and I will agree that your perspective has as much validity as mine. It is the spin that we put on these issues. I enjoy your posts.
