JW....thanks for the "lesson" on ADSL. I believe that Cincinnati Bell is offering the service now with free equipment (modem) and installation for a limited time. jim PS....Bill Fortune III....thanks for the charts...see PM.

Jokingly I asked if they were bringing ADSL into the neighbourhood. They said "YES!" but they were fulfilling a third party order to do the line-work for Covad Communications (NASDAQ: COVD). A neighbor (he never goes to work unlike the rest of us) had ordered ADSL. The local phone company itself does not offer the service yet.
