I think that it would be a mistake for a trans atlantic cable to be considered at this point. I imagine the internet traffic between US cities has got to be more than 10 or 20 times that that would be between the US and Europe, at least for a while. Now you have GBLX laying 1 or 2 cables, and LVLT is talking they will lay one. Thats three with lots of capacity. This could be a major glut for a while.

Sticking with intercity North America would be much more effective and the profitible with less glut possibilities I think.
