Well, I was going to shut this thing off for the weekend, but I have to respond to this--

No assets or real value exists unless or until the stock is sold in the open market.

Dusty, where did you get your business background? Nattering Naybob Univ.
You need to learn a LOT about assets, but I'm not going to waste my weekend tryin' to teach you.

Later folks,
George

Dusty, that post, like all your posts, show just how little you know about business and the market. You realize any local community college has courses in business 101. Also do you realize who the brother is of this poster and his connection to the Midland saga and the internet GOD?

:-)

No assets or real value exists unless or until the stock is sold in the open market. So the true value of the stock we hold does not have a constant value due to the fact the share price is a changing factor all the time

All kidding aside, Dusty, that statement makes no sense.

I think you should check the definitions of two terms: assets and liquid assets.

The CBQI stock is an asset. Should it be sold, the cash resulting from the sale would be a liquid asset.

If your statement were true, then the portfolio of everyone here would be worthless until we sold stock. My IBM stock would serve me no purpose until sold, and I can assure you thats not true.

Like always Dusty, you need to check your facts before opening your mouth.

The CBQI is an asset. it is real and has value. It's value, to Midland will fluctuate as the stock price does and should be discounted when assesing value of the company, but it will be marked to market 4x per year for financial filing purposes.

what is CBQI really worth ? Now there is somting that could be debated..

still searching for a clue i c
