DepyDog,

I've not spoken to you before, but do enjoy your postings a great deal. I've posted here from time to time and do own shares of AOL. Having said that and extremely pleased with the returns thus far, may I offer an opinion as to the motives of Mr. Host.

On Fri. CNBC smuggly announced that Mr. Paul Allen was selling a "large position" of his AOL holdings, as was "many" of the "company insiders".

I would be willing to bet that Mr. Host has shorted the stock, just prior to AOL earnings on Tues. (not overly wise) and is hoping that the CNBC bashing will start another sell off as we went through on Mon. of last week. Frankly, I'm getting just a bit bored with CNBC and their constant manipulation of stock prices via the "unbiased" media "news" reporting. "Insania" (pun intended) said the word "cratored" no less than 8 times in his one hour last Mon. in "reporting" the sell off of the tech. sector and "breakout" no less than 10 times reporting the "sector rotation" that he saw. "Could this be the end for the high flying internet bubble" and the return to value"

Next day all they could do was "question" the sector rotation as the internets came back full strength and then some.

Open note to Mr. Host....don't try to play the CNBC switch. They will hang you out to dry everytime. Buy strong companies and stay with them through thick and thin. AOL has paid me 1000 fold for my guts.

Ken
