Scumbria, Yes, I have an 11 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. And depriving them of access to the real world is not the correct way to rear kids IMHO. The only thing we can do is to teach them right from wrong, be emotionally involved with them and give them lots of love and a good education and support. If you look at most mass killers thru history, they typically have deep emotional problems, caused mainly by family problems. Personally, I think that depriving kids from something that all their friends have access to is counter-productive as it is more likely to build resentment, anger and emotional problems than exposure to the modern culture. And folks who offer quick answers to things like the Trenchcoat Mafia horrors such as : Gun Control, the Media etc are missing the point. Regards, Kash
