Good timing Dick! You sized it up very well. No one loses money by taking a profit.

The risk you took paid off with a very good return. The market
conditions (mainly IBM earnings) spiked NOVL at the right time and
you captured that in the LEAPs. The 10 strike was so deep in the
money that it was almost dollar for dollar parallel to the stock
price move itself because of the high intrinsic value of the LEAP.

That kind of sideshow is what I try to do with my large CC premies in my account. Now, you have some more capital to work with.
