I think that SUF made a major error in not preparing the market for the change in accounting which resulted in the lower than expected profit figure for the 4th quarter and hence yearly report.

That is taboo on Wall street and the investment community in general.

In spite of everything which is said by all the regulatory bodies about leaks the bigshots demand to know ahead of time in precise detail exactly where a company is at.

Those who disappoint on earnings are punished severely.

I think that there is still overhang from the problems with DEBEERS. If the world were not watching and if DEBEERS did not have their balls exposed in Canada they would probably try to eat SUF for breakfast.

And SUF needs to do more to educate investors in general and the brokers, funds etc. about their potential. Many people still associate SUF with the M1 pipe only and the loss of percentage. They think that Marsfontein is short term and then back to a penny exploration company.

SUF is obviously taking some steps to address these problems and I am bullish long term. The short term, in the absence of a significant reversal, is very dicy.

Interesting info from another forum. We should all hear this kind of stuff from SUF. We are left to speculate about what is going on in too many cases.

It would appear that SUF contributed cash to Winspear to do the airborne surveys in return for a % on the prospective targets on both Cach and Hilltop. Apparently there are numerous excellent mineral trains on these properties and at least 13 targets identified. A drill is on site at the moment and I think Sudir commented some time ago that it is parked over a target. Is it on a SUF JV target?
