CGarcia: Where do you live. It appears you must be with some forward thinking Telco/carrier and not living in Maine under the hand of Bell Atlantic. The points you make are accurate and telling and would be instructive to all that would like to get a handle on cable vs. twisted pair(telco). I hope the 2 sources push each other to the max and that some others will come along i.e. wireless that will service the technologically disadvantaged folks in what is called the Seacoast region of Northern New England.
