What are opinions here on the thread on the earnings report Monday vs. analyst expectations?

Herc, the system is supposed to have data capability within a few months. However, system data rate is 2400 baud. So you could use a modem thru your PC, however, it would be very slow. The satellites are limited in what they can do by their hardware design. This was designed as a narrowband system, so I am sure they could not support any wideband applications. But, in the narrowband sense, what did you have in mind? I would sure think that Iridium would be open to any revenue generating ideas. CSM
