Steve, love to join in on the debate on AT&T owning cable access and the potential advantage it has against AOL. Yes it is nice to have the high speed of cable but how many homes are cable hookable currently. The farmer in a remote small town in Iowa, LA, North Dakota etc. has easy access to telephone than to cable. So cable does not have wide access even though it has a faster access.

AT&T has telecom, cable, ISP content etc. But does it have the expertise of creating a cyber community and make Internet browsing easy as AOL has done?

The disadvantage to AOL for not having cable is less than the advantage it would have if it had one.

Any thoughts??
