Then why I are you having conversations on this thread about gold if you are so deadbeat about it.

Bill,

Because I monitor the price of gold as a major trigger point for forthcoming economic problems, resuscitation, or currency problems with the US dollar that may effect other investments. (especially with Y2K coming up fast upon us and the economic turmoil it may cause).

Now I don't dabble in speculating in precious metals futures, but had I been short gold, I would have every reason, and RIGHT, in the world to contribute and post on this thread.

Unless of course, only manic gold longs have freedom of speech in the world of goldbugs.

Bill, you have been touting gold for years and those who chose to listen to you, and others who ignore the economic realities of the world in which gold operates, saw their assets depreciate relative to most assets they might have sold to buy that gold. Most people used cash, of course.

As soon as the economy show signs of major inflation in the CPI/PPI, I'll be just a bullish on the price of gold as anyone else (except the Fed governors maybe.. :0)

Shoo!

No. You shoo!! And take your GATA with you. Besides, transacting business on SI, I believe is a violation of their TOS. I may be wrong, and I'll check that. But what you are doing is BUSINESS, non-profit or for profit. You are using SI to solicit funds and further that business.
