From Fleck's latest rap: Soros speaks... In the news department, George Soros said in a speech today that he thought this part of the global financial crisis has ended because Brazil was able to float a bond deal. He did say that doesn't mean there won't be new problems, and he likened those potential problems to the French building the Maginot line after the First World War and finding it didn't help much in the Second World War. The implication being that the problems we've fixed won't be the ones that get us next time. David
