I don't really think they can be forced to release information relative to a pending litigation based on a "freedom of information" request. If it would take a lawsuit, I wouldn't want to spend the money for that purpose. Besides, an old appraisal, if it exists, would not be very relevent today. A lot of this digging for information becomes quite costly if there is any resistance. Anyway, each of us can do a little bit towards getting information and posting it here. In the overall scheme of things, I sometimes wonder if we do any good....
