winzer, Thanks much. I do not come here for pats on the back, but it is nice to get them once in awhile. I chose what I am doing so knocks come with the territory. The problem is, not answering them, causes others to be concerned, and then it grows. It is a lose, lose situation. I don't have time to deal with it. We are just beginning with our GATA efforts. If the bad mouthing gets out of control, I will just have to leave SI. Not because of the criticism, but soon I will have no time to respond, and then other people ( especially that are new ) start asking "why does he not answer questions". The naysayer must be right. Then they spread that. Tis not good. Better just not to be around. have a nice weekend. Bill

Bill, In the words of the most dispicable president this country has ever had.....GO BABY ......Folks if Bill Murphy makes a coupla sheckles on ECU don't ya think we might also....and if he does garner a few pesos out of the deal, who f***kin cares.....Why do we always have to be so concerned about the other guy!!!!.....Bill"s gotta be workin his ass off. He takes time to return most every post sent his way (sorry Rose you blew your chance). Just for a moment think of the enormity of the endeavor... Look at what info he has garnered and just imagine the info he hasn't told us about (rumors, confidential info etc.) Now he's meeting with Reps. in Washington and dealing with people like Barry...Think that's easy.....Lets all back way off and allow this guy to proceed.....He's doing a remarkable job and should be revered not villified....ergh!!!! BTW...ECU is a quality company....Look where they have come from in such a short period of time....how many other companies are making $$$$ in this shitty market..... Go BILL GO your doing a great job!!!!!..... ps. ...How many other folks would attempt to do this????...ans. ...none. GO GATA............

Ouch! You really like to hit below the belt, taking a prior post that was clearly in jest and turning it into an analysis of my "psyche". I am a heavy investor in ECU and believed in Bill Murphy commitment to GATA and ECU's future. However, I'm starting to believe that I am just dealing with a bunch of "thug promoters" who will do anything to ensure that nothing negative is said on this thread. I am seriously thinking of selling my ECU shares. I am seeing a serious parallel here to the Penny Stock Guru (of a few years back) and other unscrupulous promoters. Anybody who can't at the very least stand free speech- very likely has something to hide!
