Java stuff:

Try this in Win98

Click Start
Click Programs
Click Accessories
Click System Tools

Select Tools
Select 'Check System Files'
Check 'Scan'
Click Settings button
Check box 'Changed'
Check box 'Deleted'
Click OK
Click Start

Hint1: Ignore everything for the first run. You're looking for something to explain your Java troubles. You can deal with the rest later.

Hint2: While you're at it, Select 'Conflict Manager' too.

Hope this helps. PW.

hi sangar,

hopefully what pw suggested has you fixed up.

if not, can you answer some questions? are you running win95, or win98? what browser and version are you using? give us the url that has the streamer that is causing a problem, and we can see how it looks for us. (us being anyone who might lend a hand.) <gg>

i use win95. i used to get java errors with netscape3.0. when i upgraded to communicator4.5, all those probs disappeared.

:)
