Tenchusatsu-
Well let me attempt to close this discussion.Everybody lies. Not all lies are equivalent.I believe this is not a difficult point to understand.
To lie about ones private sexual behavior is a common human flaw .To lie about murder, rape, and torture

OT** on a sleepy day
Tenchusatsu,
Re-"...Clinton...what other questionable actions is the guy lying about as well? Whitewater? A rape? Murder?"

I agree with you, but might he not also be the biggest spy ever (contributions from the Chinese for technology), much bigger than the small fry's currently sitting in jail? Ames and Pollack should possibly be set free unless Clinton joins them!?

humble carl

The difference between Clinton and almost all his predecessors is that they were never asked the questions he was asked. There was a restraint in the press that has vanished. Do you seriously think that JFK or LBJ or FDR or the sainted Eisenhower would have actually admitted to sexual misconduct if they had been asked? And don't tell me it's different under oath. Those other guys were never faced with the choice. That doesn't make them morally superior to anyone. Clinton was asked questions he should never have been asked. He lied. You see a reason to condemn him in that. I see a reason to call him "human."
