BT, AT&T to acquire 15 pct each in Japan Telecom (Reuters 04/25 00:11:44) TOKYO, April 25 (Reuters) - Major Japanese telecom company Japan Telecom Co <9434.T> said on Sunday it reached a partnership deal with global heavyweights British Telecommunications Plc (BT) <BT.L> and AT&T Corp <T.N>. The two companies will acquire a 15 percent stake each in Japan Telecom for a total of 220 billion yen ($1.85 billion), the company said.
