Neither set of speakers are worth anything, so take the $25 for the Dell speakers. Both have 56K modems. As long as they work, I've never been able to tell the difference. Anti-virus software . . . the rest . . . Maybe $100 or so.

The point is, if you don't need the 8.4HDD or 8MB on video instead of 4MB (same ATI maker), then why bother to pay the extra amount.

I expect HP to come in with a system well under DELL also just as their HP4445 is $749 vs. $874 for a 333V and the HP has a C366.

Doesn't eMachines have a warranty extender for $59 or something like that?
