wpckr, Not selling you short. I am talking about the average investor who barely has time to go to work and have a life. I am sure Canadians and some oldtimers in the U.S. market has heard the horror story. I had never heard about them until I read this thread. I don't know anyone who has heard about them. When did this happen anyway? In recent years? There are many tragedies that occur in the world. Most are well heard of in the country in which they occur. Just out of curiosity, I will ask the managing broker of the brokerage firm I use if he has heard. He is in his 30's. It will be interesting to see if he has.
