I didn't see Basketball Diaries. I know Jim Carroll wrote the book, it was autobiographical. My husband just said the shooting scene wasn't in the book, it was something they put in the movie. Jim Carroll wrote at least one very good song, People Who Died, about friends of his who were murdered. I would bet he feels horrible if this is being blamed on the movie.

You better rethink this Melinda, it's too much like what I think. You need to be Blaming Society, or the NRA or something, or you're gonna get evicted from Perversia.
