My father would have adopted Option C. But I think differently.

Find a time when you know your child is away and grab what you can and enter the FBI's witness protection program. Some of the kids these days might blow their parents up just as quick as anyone else. If you don't know your kid is planning to recreate a scene from his/her favorite massacre movie/video, you probably don't have a really good idea about what part they see you playing in the drama.
