I see PC usage finally penetrating the 65+ age group in a big way. Many of these folks resisted getting PCs for years and years, but now all their friends want to send them email, so they are finally buying PCs and getting internet access too. But these middle-adopter types want what's easiest and most socially acceptable among their peer group. My wife's mother recently got her first PC. Her ISP? AOL. Her two sisters? Just did the same thing. You get the idea: critical mass.
