FredE; This thing I'm using only works for "baskets" like the 9 spiders, SPY MDY QQQ,or DIA and I can't watch every one of them all of time. When I'm on the fence I poll them checking the relative A/Ds looking for a heads up or down signal, or so to say a divergence from it's normal , if the divergence matches the way the head is moving I open the position when it stops or reverses I close , the head tail and A/Ds should all start moving the same way, and stay moving the same way while it's open long or short. ------------------ Looking at the above I'm sure it don't read the way I would like to say it, lets say I'm on the fence and just polling them what gets my attention is if the head is moving against the the tail, ( the few Big caps with the most liquidity ) are opposing the smaller caps , well that's setting it up. So I start polling that index more regular than the others. As I know in time enough of them smaller ones will most often start to turn and that will up the total A/ds making a change. Catching it as it turns but before it leaves the station is the trick, it's nothing fancy just a Mo Mo system. Once I get the open signal and chunk my money down the rest of the market can spin any way it want's as I'm into keeping my eye on the ball I'm playing with until I close the position. I may glance around for a bit if some other one was looking like it was setting itself up earlier. In as much as they are baskets when I open I swing for just about all I can , so finding other things wouldn't do me much good any way until I get out of it. It's none of that 2x or 3x stuff but if your on the right side of the curve often enough you will wind up with the good swings when they happen. I'm turning into a "basket" case <G> Jim
