Why? Are these cycles some kind of an immutable law -- who has shown this?

Furthermore, what does the foreign markets of Russia and Asia have to do with it? They do not always move in tandem with our market ... isn't there another possible interpretation in your cyclic TA framework. Who's not bullish now (except for me)? :-)

Looking at CYC-X, AA, IP, and others, I don't see anything in March 3 and March 23. When the market temporarily rotated out of big cap techs in April, they broke out of 3- to 6-month long bases.

Just looked at the historical P/C charts and it looks like the recent 1.8 reading is the highest ever. Lots of precedents are being set lately. hmmm....
