- MSFT is even a better, smarter, bunch then I thought originally.

- Per the 1998 10K, Microsoft received $538 mill for issuing put options

- none of this is reflected in the income statement. But if you go down the Statement of Cash Flows, you'll see it there.

- if this had been in income, then income would have been higher by this amount

- man, this co. makes money more ways than I can imagine.
