Zora One of the draw backs to being an employee and a investor in the same company is its hard to over look all the stupid things you see management do. If you see these done to often which means over and over again are they really learning anything which means getting more efficient and making more money for the same effort. One of the reasons i will not buy right now is with the shares i own of gm i will recieve some shares of delphi. Some of the things that bother me about Delphi is #1. Delphi will become a brand name, we loose the use of the brand names we all know about, AC spark plugs,Delco and a lot of others unless we pay to gm to use. #2 In my plant there is no sence of what it takes to run a plant. When management or engineering decide its promotion time or just to find something else to do they leave. This allows no accountability and the whole plant suffers. This causes more of a problem then the uaw gm relationship thing which really sucks in the press. #3 Zora,Delphis relationship with GMSPO. I have always heard complaints by management that we are burdened by what spo sets our prices at and how they market our products. Zora, some big pluses if true #1. If we become and 800 pound gorilla look out. Some people would argue, Delphi is one now. I feel they still need to prove alot. #2. There perception of high cost producer,if they fix that look out. #3. I believe that Delphi will have a big position in helping gm go to module assembly. if that happens theres big money there. There is a lot of other positives and negatives these are just a few i see good luck dale
