The original was, I believe, Sam Cooke, but "Another Saturday Night" was covered and made popular many years later by Cat Stevens. It was one of Stevens' last big hits.

Sadly, I was just exposed to a rap version of Cat Stevens' "Father and Son". Strange days indeed...
