Yep. Been here 20 years. Was living in Pittsburgh, married woman who lived on west side of the island (on waterfront property her family bought many years before), we had to decide whether she moved to Pittsburgh or I moved to San Juan. I lost. (Won too, although I did really like Pittsburgh.) But sometimes damned inconvenient -- had to attend a board meeting today for a camp for the disabled I'm involved with, left home at 7:15 and got home at 7:30, all for a two hour meeting. But I sit in my study looking out at the Haro Strait with the sun about to set over Henry Island, and it's pretty much worth it. <g>
