Perhaps what you are missing is explained in post 25514.

I recall a post where it was explained that in his career an analyst had only downgraded one other company over a difference of opinion, and that the difference was resolved and that company is now back in the fold so to speak. Read post 25514. then ask yourself
what am I missing here.

Gives new meaning to all this persistent bashing we are seeing does it not? I am just expressing an opinion here and have no personal knowledge of this going on but it is interesting reading worthy
of your attention be it fact or fiction.

Last time I checked Ebay was trading at $300 a share $C. Plus it is profitable.

donkeyman, could I please ask that you edit your posts just a wee bit. If you want to write a book on BII that's fine but how about doing it somewhere else. Your post are just TOO LONG --- I know you mean well but lets be reasonable.......

>>BID.COM -WHAT AM I MISSING HERE? The management of BID.COM said they were going head-to-head with EBAY. BID.COM has now joined the Nasdaq big board. So where are they today? Only about 1 1/2 percent of the share value of EBAY (BID.COM Cdn.$14.50, EBAY Cdn.$906.00/share) BID.COM today was only 13.9% of UBID (Cdn.$14.50/share and UBID Cdn.$104.00/share). Yes, EBAY AND UBID have been on the Nasdaq for a half year ahead of BID.COM, but their revenues are not that much larger. BID.COM only has 3 times more shares than EBAY. So if BID.COM was doing the same revenue and same profits of EBAY, based on the number of shares, would that mean BID.COM'S share value would be 1/3 of EBAY (Cdn.$302.00/share???). In the meantime I understand BID.COM has about 5 times more shares out than UBID. The Nasdaq should really boost revenue and profits for BID.COM but why are they still valued at only 1 1/2 percent of EBAY and only 13.9 percent of UBID? Didn't EBAY win all the top Canadian high tech awards last year? Didn't the Canadian high tech expert judges know what they were doing?? Didn't BID.COM's business to consumer model match any of the other U.S. Internet auction companies? EBAY AND UBID are far behind BID.COM in their push towards Europe, Canada and Australia. Doesn't BID.COM have 6 streams of potential profits? Don't they have a major dutch auction patent? Aren't they on the TSE 300 index?? Won't they soon have a second major business model activated, business to business? Don't they have $20 million cash in the bank. It goes on and on. Don't you think there's something wrong when BID.COM is rated so low? Now the Yorkton crowd, because they were dropped like a ton of bricks, and you can be sure they deserve it. Has this company, BID.COM, brand new to the big board on the Nasdaq, something to be very proud of, reduce down to only 20% or 30% of those low values that we talked about. Don't Yorkton thing after all those BID.COM pluses they should be rated not 1.5% of EBAY but only 1/3 of 1 % can you believe that (Cdn$3.00/sh. Bii) Something isn't right with this Yorkton crowd - it doesn't make any sense. BID.COM even has the best internet auction name on the nasdaq in BIDS. What price would Yorkton place on EBAY or UBID? Why don't new Canadian Internet companies get away from Canadian Analyst and the stock markets and go to the NASDAQ BB. Who said Canadian Analysis will eat there young.!!Thanks Yorkton most Canadians were proud of this young Internet auction Company going on the Big Board NASDAQ, but they very, very disappointed in yorkton and what's his name.!!

D-Man,

Excellent points. I bet you've put more time into valuating BIDS in comparison to its peers than Pavan did while taking a bathroom break!

Denise.
