Donkeyman, what you just said is so true. It is unfortunately the sad reality. Put it this way, if you want to make big, you've got to make it in the US, then after the rest of the world will be open to you.

Celine Dion was huge in Quebec first, then re-made her image (or rather, her manager did), became huge in Canada, then took on the big US market and succeeded there...all without losing her Canadian (and, to some Quebecers at least, her Quebec) identity.

Nice voice. Not quite the equal of Barbara Streisand's (has nothing to do with Streisand's choice of music, I'm simply talking about voices), but pretty close.

In any case, one doesn't have to drop Canada like a ton of bricks to achieve success in the US in music or in business. One simply has to concentrate on the steps to success in the market you're targetting. Which I hope BIDS does very, very well.

WUWT

ps How about using all lower case rather than all caps if you don't like the shift key? Bonus: it'll make you look like a Unix wizard <g>

Hi Donkeyman, Look at how Bid.Com Investor Relations respect us. I wrote an Email, right after the official announcement was done for NASDAQ, about the fact that the name of the company on NASDAQ was BID COM Intl and not BID.COM (the dot was missing, very important for an Inet company). I just realize that they changed it, I AM VERY IMPRESSED, this sound very good to us, BII investors. BID.COM Investor Relations department, congratulation, you score A+. I still don't believe it, I am amazed, they listen to my suggestion. For me, this is a clear indication that Bid.Com will bring alll of us very far and I have other marketing ideas hat I will send to them. DM, we will make it big.
