Hi everyone:

From hbohlig aka Helene:

"Now, lets say that XYZ company is on a trial basis and is looking for widgets or whatever. XYZ enters the data base and finds 10 suppliers who meet the price/delivery/customs/etc. requirements. They get the contacts from the data base for free. XYZ doesn't really need to sign up now does it? They have received the information they were looking for. They deal with the 10 companies directly.

My nagging questions is....does PNL have a system in place that would prevent "getting freebies" from the database and then leaving after the 60 days, no questions asked?"

Helene, the above scenario may be true if ProNetlink is nothing more than a source for trade leads and database. But ProNetLink's Global Trade Internetwork is a lot more than that…. please see my 2 cents on Glenn's reply posted on this thread...

"We are currently working on adding an Auction module. The differences are that we are not selling a Beany Baby, but items like 5000 tons of Sulfur. The dynamics are very different."

This feature alone will guarantee subscribers to pay their fee and keep coming back. Brokers, traders, imports/exporters are constantly looking for widgets, any kind of widgets, to buy and sell. This is the way of life for them, IMHO, this auction feature will become what Ebay does for consumers.

"Our mission is to have an Internet business that deals specifically with global trade. Our site is designed as a portal that displays contacts, trade leads, financing, shipping, insurance, conferences, trade forms, on-line catalogs, e-stores and trade shows. This information is not limited to one market but covers the entire world."

The above additional features besides the contacts and trade leads are the real deals. Companies will join and pay the fee (less than $1 a day) just so they can use the added value provided. Even if they don't use it daily, it always nice to know you have access to those critical information when you really need it.

"What makes ProNetLink unique is the fact that the site is interactive and self populating rather than just links to other sites. It also offers immediate on line trading and communications with businesses around the world. These are just some of the items included in ProNetLink however, one of the most interesting aspects of ProNetLink is the online Netcasting of shows and seminars that are targeted to the Trade industry. No one else is doing this."

Interactive and self-populating! This is the essence of a cyberspace community. If ProNetLink can succeed in developing a cyberspace trading community, then the rest is history. One of the key elements of a "community" is loyalty. Without subscribers' loyalty, you don't have a community. And in the ProNetLink world, a community means a guarantee renewal subscription fee every year. Not bad, eh?

"ProNetLink has established working relationships with trade critical businesses that include UPS, AT&T, Dun & Bradstreet, Dow Jones, Reuters, Journal of Commerce, World Trade Magazine, Aon Insurance, Unz & Co., NCBFAA, PIERS and many more."

Again, Glenn has done a great job in marketing ProNetLink. Getting the big guys to play ball is essential in the world of Internet.

"The company has also been expanding around the world and now has sales and development offices in Asia, the Middle East and North America. A marketing mission to open offices throughout Europe will take place at the end of May and June."

Marketing, marketing, and marketing is what Glenn is good at! Now, this is what keep ProNetLink head over the other competitors when they do finally come into the market.

In the last 6 days the site has generated over 10,000 users with over 1000 companies joining and taking advantage of the 60 free trial period.

Only 6 days for 1,000 sign-up. Wait until Glenn and his teams go full speed on their marketing campaign now that they have the V3 up and running. By the way, the other features that are under construction- address book, personal files, catalog, etc.. will be available soon. What do you think the impression of those new businessmen when they first see V3. So far, the response from everyone who saw V3 are all "oooh and aaah"; not to mention the attention it drew from the IBE as noticed by Terri.

"In Jakarta, we produced an event with our Indonesian office that targeted the business community and invited them to see ProNetLink and the IBE. It was very successful and was covered by Indonesian National TV and business press."

Hey everyone, wait until we see the sign-up result from Indonesian alone! Of course, we will have to wait until the 60 free trial is over. But giving the successful result mentioned above, I am excited about the future prospect. Don't you also?

"Representatives of the Indonesian government also participated. To demonstrate that ProNetLink is a global product we tied into our representative from the Thailand Chamber of Commerce who spoke to the audience in Indonesia about working together through ProNetLink."

Now, Thailand is involved as well. This is what I called Great Marketing!

"Back in New York we participated in the IBE. As trade events go, this is a large event. In fact it is the largest event of its type on the East Coast of the USA. The companies that had booths there included: Chase Bank, Dun & Bradstreet, Hong Kong Bank, FedEx, UPS, The US Department of Commerce, Citibank, Government Embassies and many other trade related companies. One key thing about the IBE... Regardless of the size of the IBE, the goal of our participation in the event was to show to the world that we can broadcast live, connect businesses around the world and make any event a global event."

Let's see how many of the banks mentioned above decide to join PNL as strategic alliances.

"The editorial press about ProNetLink will follow. This does not happen overnight. Most magazines, do to the time it takes to print, need months before a story will show up. On the near side we have been told that we are going to be featured as the site of the week on The MiningCo. miningco.com;

Suddenly, I feel bad for those who got stopped out last week. The ship has yet to sail out to the new world… Hey, Planter, are you still out there by the seashore? Now, stop looking at the girls by the beach and join us again...<wink, wink> no Planter, that's not me winking, that terri winking at you...

"As for our stock, we do not control the price or movement. If you have followed our growth and are aware of the alliances that we have generated you would realize that these companies, most recently UPS, would not be working with us if they didn't believe in our business plan. I can not give you a good answer as to the movement of the stock. There has been no bad news published about us."

Sound business plan is what I believe PNL's management has from day one. Come on everyone, stop focusing on the day-to-day price and start paying attention to the results of the PNL's business plan. This is what long-term holding is all about. Do you think Warren Buffett will buy and hold if he doesn't believe in the business plan of the companies that he bought? Warren Buffett just keeps accumulating when the stock price of the companies he invested in dropped due to emotional trading. Btw, there is a new book by Robert G. Hagstrom titled "The Warren Buffett Portfolio- Mastering the Power of the Focus Investment Strategy". Check it out if you are so inclined.

"Since management's stock is locked up, there is no way we could possibly benefit personally from any movement in the stock at this time. We are here for the long run and will stay focused on the plan."

Hear, hear! Bravo, bravo!

"We will be a fully reporting company within the next month or so and this will be the next step in moving the company off the OTC."

I guess RMMOYER doesn't need to die after all! <G>

"We are building a global network and it is being positively received around the world. If we stick to our plan and continue to build the company....the stock will follow."

"Those who see it before the others do always come out ahead…. and history has shown this to be true time and time again..."

Anyone disagree here?

"Finally, a note about Internet Chat rooms. I don't believe any investor that posts on the Internet using an alias. You can never be sure who they are or what their motives really are. We have a number of investigations going on right now into posters that have made false comments about this company. Please do your own due diligence as to our company and use caution when reading posts from unknown individuals."

Since I am using an alias, don't believe anything I said. For all the above is my opinion only. And we all know that opinion doesn't mean anything unless it is backed by a workable crystal ball. Now, I do have one of those round crystal ball on my desk that I stared at occasionally… but all I saw was some distorted reflection of myself… so go figure…

"The bottom line is that I know we are moving in the right direction and I will continue to build this company according to our business plan."

Keep moving, Glenn! And thanks for all the hard work. You will have my support even though I am just an alias here….

"Thank you for your support,"

You are welcome!

Well, well, well, Helene, are you convinced now that XYZ company will pay less than a $1 a day for this wonderful service that ProNetLink's Global Trade Internetwork has to offer?

Again, all of the above is my opinion only!

Remember everyone,
To Each His Own

And

Prosperity to ALL!

If I were a company that just found some good leads, I don't think I could stand possibly missing future information, leads etc, just to save $365.00. Business is competitive, and if it gives an edge then it is essential, if my competition has a PNLK membership that "may" give them an edge, then my not having it is not an option.

It looks like you have already been given some great responses, so I'll just quickly add that the point about future leads is a good one to consider. It seems very-shortsighted to sign up for 60 free days to grab freebie information with the assumption that you have the leads you need for future commerce. I would think that leads and products will change and that the site will be used on an interactive basis--ie many companies will use the site to buy products that show up at bargain prices due to supply/demand factors that change on a daily basis. If all you have is a freebie list and no site membership you lose out on all kinds of deals. It's all about cost savings.

Also, I suspect at least half of the recent free signups so far are by us investors, and the growth in signups will be such a long-term process that any who do try what you mention will be a very tiny percentage of those that use it for real benefit.

It's good you are looking for holes--you gotta stay on guard with this investment 'stuff'. If I've missed your point please correct me.
Ted

Helene,

1. A mid-management director who finds PNLK first and signs on will win himself strong recognition in his organization once he successfully orchestrates a trade using the webtool. He will have bragging rights for quite a while. Sign up is guaranteed in his company!
2. Once it is known that the competition is on board, any company must sign up just to keep pace. Maxepr (Ken) brought up this in his post to you.
3. A company in a fight for survival needs whatever levels the field for them and gives them a chance. That also has been stated.
4. You settle in after 60 days and won't want to change out. Where would you go anyway, then, to trade globally with the internet as a resource?

answer: Nowhere else

Go Pronet!
