Perhaps you can define the difference between deflation and depression. Feel free to define them in terms of inflation, disinflation and recession.

Well, foolish or not, there was a bull market in gold and an opportunity to make moola.
If I remember correctly, the US prime rate hit 21%. A pretty good indication of inflation in the pipe.

One might say that the run up in internet stocks is foolish as well but I sure wish I'd bought 10k shares of AOl at $1.
