Uncle Frank,

I told my wife that you said we'd be worth 8 figures in 9 years, and she wanted to know if you were under professional care <g>.

If my Cisco/Qualcom comparison comes to fruition, I'll be able to afford the professional care.

George Gilder wrote that Qualcomm is the Intel of the wireless biz and that Qualcomm today is where Intel was in 1981. The stock didn't begin trading publicly until January, 1987. Though it has increased more than 70-fold in the more than 12 years since then, that's only a 41% average annual increase.

That's less than half of Cisco's increase over a shorter time frame. Nonetheless, my guess is that we'd all take a 41% average annual increase in Qualcomm's stock. If not, then I do need professional care.

What I need right now is sleep. When you notice the time stamp on this post, keep in mind that I live on the east coast. :)
