I hear you. The 'dead soldiers' hanging around a portfolio can provide grim testimony. Sometimes I wonder if I'm looking at my account statement or an aerial photo of Arlington ;) The key is learning from these lessons. Sometimes the message can be painful. Sometimes the messenger can come off as the enemy. The point is to eliminate the emotion and think of what the message is saying. The one thing I really dislike about Raging Bull is the ignore feature. The ability to stick your fingers in your ears is dangerous. The sweet voice of greed is always easy to listen to. But it is just as important to listen to doubts. That feature lets people wall themselves off. Very dangerous. I see I got a little off topic but it just seemed like a natural segue. <g>
