mentioned in that PR from last fall...

NF-kB plays a key role in regulating the human immune
system. In B cells, it regulates the transcription of genes
involved in the production of antibodies. NF-kB also regulates
the transcription of many genes in activated T cells that play
a major role in inflammatory and immune-related disease. Substances that inhibit NF-kB-mediated events may be useful for treating or
preventing a number of immune-related or inflammatory disorders
such as asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis
and rheumatoid arthritis. NF-kB is also believed to play an
important role in neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's
disease and Alzheimer's disease.
