I don't know where you were when Ole 49r was taking her potshots at me (Carville... etc), but you seem to be selective in what offends you.

I come here to learn also Lorne, as well as to debate and exchange ideas about gold and the economy. I'm perfectly open to being shown where my ideas are wrong and to adjust my thinking. As of yet, few people on the gold side seem to be able to offer anything but the weakest rhetorical and theoretical arguments to support their beliefs. And certainly nothing that substantiates the belief like Bill Murphy holds, that gold is grossly undervalued and being manipulated by short sellers.

Ask me...do I love gold? I would have to say no. But if you ask me if I respect gold? Then I would be foolish to say anything other than yes. The POG is nothing more than a reflection of economic perception by investors who hold the metal as what they feel is the "ultimate hedge" against financial catastrophe. To ignore that perception would be counter-productive.

So if you're going to discuss my "personality" publicly let's get the facts straight. Most insults on my part are in retalition for insults that have been directed toward me.

Lorne wisdom i said teach i will learn. The difficult thing here is that GATA is new Bills creation, from a belief he has, so Ron questioned Bill directly. I feel Bill is honest and very caring i do not question Bills belief tho i do not feel GATA will be an easy case.

So now the question goes to GATA what do i believe and i think i cant give an answer here. i believe the market isn't exactly pristine white but neither is a pulpit.
