Thanks Joe and your son...wow...I offer a penny and 0.001 %( one tenth of one percent) interest in something for the heck of it ( 5 persons only! Ha!) My bud has a bunch of $1.00 ALTA shares ...this is silly. Anyone who takes this up should kick them selves in the ass twice a day till it comes out. These folks have stuff, in Nevada and that is THE WILD CARD. As I stated on Yahoo thread also, this is some weird action. Be cool or be square. treat people fair is the bottom line...OK I raise it to a dime( I just don't have the money though to controll the float!). OK, rescinded! Barter maybe. Snow shovelling?
Thanks, Weird, but thanks.
Chuca

Awhile back there was an article in the LA Times about shady operators who make unsolicited offers to purchase stock at less than market value. They come up with official looking offers, advertise these offers and send these offers to shareholders. Believe it or not, they actually do find uninformed shareholders who turnover their shares to these con artists at less than market value. The sad thing is that they are not breaking any laws. They are making an offer to buy stock at under market value & actually do find suckers that will sell to them.

While ATLA stock currently isn't tradable, I would think that under any circumstances it will be worth considerably more than $0.001. I'm not going to make any accusations as to what is behind the offer that was posted, but you can make your own conclusions.
