blankmind, I finally jumped in Dell last week (a few options and stock). Unloaded Gateway for this purchase except for the shares that I have sold covered calls on (stuck with those until May expiration).
I am hoping to see 48 to 50 by mid May in Dell so I can get out of the few Dell options I have and reduce shareholdings.

IBM and Gateway's earnings gave me an indication that Dell will do well. Much more important is that others will think Dell will also do great!! That in my opinion is the key to a run up in Dell stock.
I will be out before earnings except for some shares.

Want to buy more MSFT once I am done trading other stocks like, Gateway, Dell, AT&T, Media One, ATHM.
Although i hate to see Microsoft drop in price, this time I won't mind as much since I want to buy more at a lower price. In the meantime, there are other good opportunities out there.(still hold plenty of MSFT)
