Therefore I posted 9:25.

I frequently got fills slightly before the market open, when I entered a limit order with sufficient space.

I remember that I bought some IDTC at 11 1/16 before the market open in January (right after the day it was dropped sub-10). Also recently I got off some stock at a good price not seen during session. I watch the tape, and the ISLD book closely to see what happens with my order.

But usually, there is always the risk to be on the wrong side, as well.

When you watch the ISLD order book, you see a sudden change in the orders at 9:22 onwards, so it seems like at this time the "gates" are opened and the pre-entered orders rush into the book.

Performance is still good to perfect at Datek. Had also last week "lucky" fills in gap openers when asking sufficiently($1+) below the bids.

Had only problems with USAB Friday afternoon. I have seen 14.5 / 14 5/8 on the RTQ and entered an order to buy 14 5/8. No fill, but my bid was displayed as 14 5/8, locking the market. The ask did not move (15:46:21).
